Product operation, visiting the website and contacting us are different activities.
Beta release notification
New beta notification signup is closed. Existing confirmation and unsubscribe links still work. Previously confirmed requests are used only for the single beta release notification, not a newsletter or paid promotion. No signup is needed to download.
Luminocity AG stores your email address, subscription status and consent timestamps on its UpCloud server in Germany. Resend processes the recipient address and message to deliver email. We do not add tracking pixels or use your address to identify you in website analytics.
Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after expiry; our subscription and delivery records are kept for no more than 30 days. You can cancel using the link in your confirmation email or contact us to request deletion. Resend processes delivery records under its own service retention arrangements.
We separately retain daily totals of subscription status changes and record removals for the current month and previous 13 months. These totals contain no email addresses or browser IDs and are not linked to website analytics. Removing your subscription does not remove these totals.
Installer download totals
For installer downloads on nexusmam.com, we keep daily totals by package and version: transfers started, responses sent and bytes delivered by the server. These totals do not identify you or show whether installation succeeded. This counter stores no IP address, cookie, browser identifier or referrer. Aggregate totals are retained for up to 13 months; staging tests are excluded.

Who is responsible
Luminocity AG is responsible for the Nexus MAM website, product and support contact. Its registered address and company identifiers are listed under About & Contact. Email hello@nexusmam.com for privacy or data-rights requests.
Your Nexus library
The shared library and prepared media are hosted on your Coordinator and connected storage. Nexus does not require cloud upload for the described local workflow. Setup downloads and remote-network access are separate; “local” does not mean every possible connection stays on one computer.
A specific build may need internet for installation, model downloads, update checks or a remote connection. Its release notes and in-product choices must describe those connections before use. Nexus does not use customer footage for advertising or model training through this website.
Visiting this website
We separately count explicit allow/decline choices in daily totals, without a browser ID, email, page address or raw event history. Repeated selection of the same choice is not counted on the current page; changing your choice adds a count. These counts are not unique people. We retain the current month and previous 13 months of totals; DNT/GPC browsers send no choice count. Changing your choice does not remove a prior aggregate count because it cannot identify you.
With your permission, we use Matomo on Luminocity AG's UpCloud server in Germany to count page views, selected link clicks, setup-guide opens, explanation-panel opens and full-video playback milestones (start, 25%, 50%, 75% and completion). We do not send playback positions or seek history. A distribution-link code labels a shared publication or group placement, never an individual recipient. A random identifier stored in your browser for 30 days lets us estimate returning browsers and understand navigation between pages. These are approximate browser counts, not identified people. We never link the identifier to your email.
Analytics uses local browser storage, not analytics cookies. The identifier expires 30 days after creation without extending on each visit; withdrawing consent deletes it. We remove the IP address before storing analytics and do not collect form text, email addresses, search text, referral URLs or arbitrary URL parameters. We do not record sessions or use advertising pixels. Your browser stores your analytics choice and, if selected, your Light or Dark preference.
Delivering a page necessarily transmits connection data such as your IP address, requested path, time, browser or protocol details and response status. Luminocity AG and its infrastructure provider, UpCloud, may process limited technical records in Germany to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and diagnose failures. The current site does not use an advertising network or third-party analytics service.
Email and support information
Messages to hello@nexusmam.com are delivered to a restricted Luminocity AG mailbox. Your mail provider and Luminocity's receiving mail infrastructure process the sender, recipient, routing metadata, subject, content and attachments. Reviewed replies are sent through Resend. Share only what is needed for your question; do not send passwords, pairing codes, license secrets, databases or confidential footage.
There is no website support-bundle upload. If more diagnostics are needed, we will ask for the minimum relevant information and a reviewed transfer method. Support data is used to answer the request, investigate reproducible product or security problems and meet applicable legal obligations; it is not used for unrelated marketing.
Purposes, legal grounds and recipients
We process the minimum information needed to provide the site and requested support, take steps before or perform a contract, protect the service and users, and comply with legal duties. Depending on the activity and applicable law, this relies on contract or pre-contract steps, legitimate interests in secure and reliable operation, legal obligations, or consent. Optional website analytics requires your separate consent before any analytics request is made.
Information is available only to authorized Luminocity personnel and service providers needed for the purpose, including UpCloud for hosting, mail-routing providers and Resend for outbound support mail. Providers may process data in other countries under their applicable contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share support content with advertisers.
Retention and your choices
Raw analytics records are automatically deleted after 90 days and aggregated reports after 13 months. Separate private daily reports of browser counts and page journeys contain no browser IDs and are kept for the current month and previous 13 months. These reports are not linked to email subscriptions. Your browser keeps your choice until you change it or clear the site's stored data. Technical security records and support correspondence are kept only while needed to operate and protect the service, resolve the request, document recurring or security-relevant issues, or satisfy legal claims and recordkeeping duties; they are deleted or de-identified when those purposes no longer require them. A future checkout or download service must publish its own specific retention and provider details before activation.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for future processing. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or an applicable EEA supervisory authority. We may need to verify a request without collecting more information than necessary.
